It looks like Grace VanderWaal has some advice for Jacob Sartorius, and she doesn't care who knows it. The America's Got Talent singer left a lengthy comment on the musical.ly star's Instagram post after he thanked his fans for their support – mentioning how much work he's put in to get where he is today.
It all started when Jacob posted a video teaser to Instagram with a caption that read, "Thankful. Just a kid out here working my butt off, so glad I have you guys with me. I wouldn't be anywhere without you guys. Here's to 2018 being the biggest year yet!!"
Grace then chimed in the comment section, explaining to Jacob that many people before him have worked harder.
She wrote, "This is all out of respect. Please let me inform you on how woman and men have worked harder than you or I could ever imagine for 3 times our years. No internet, no Spotify, no nothing that makes it so easy to gain so many fans in such little time, just dedication and pure hard work, pushing and pushing to make their dreams happen. Lip syncing on an app and manipulating young girls feelings and hearts is NOT 'working your butt off.'"

She added," You seem like a very great kid with a bright future ahead, I'd hate to witness a bright soul be smother by being unaware. PLEASE get or stay educated on those who came before you to understand and realize your blessings. Stay humble brother. ✌🏼"
Naturally, the comment sent fans into a frenzy in the comments section. Grace later added, "Absolutely love this post by the way .. I'm so sorry I was not expecting or trying to start anything. . Just really think your talented and should stay grounded remembering and thinking about what the world work really means, Really amazing you're taking time and saying thanks❤️❤️ all respect to you brother."
It seems as though Grace's input was out of pure respect, and we hope this doesn't cause any bad blood between the two stars.
