Gregg Sulkin and Bella Thorne dated for more than a year and they truly seemed to be so in love. Everyone thought they would last forever but alas, the young couple didn't and they split. But that doesn't mean there's any love lost between them though. Now, more than ever, fans are rallying behind Bella after she shared her sexual assault story ahead of the 2018 Golden Globes and Gregg hasn't been left out of the movement. The former Disney Channel star revealed to [Entertainment Tonight](http://www.etonline.com/gregg-sulkin-supporting-ex-girlfriend-bella-thorne-after-her-abuse-revelation-exclusive-94035?cid=trueAnthem&utmcampaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&utmcontent=5a577bfd04d3010bc41e1578&utmmedium=trueAnthem&utmsource=twitter) that he has been in contact with Bella since she made the revelation.

He said, "I spoke to her. She's good. You saw at the Golden Globes this week how important it is for certain messages to be put out into the universe. For anybody that has ever experienced that kind of thing, they do have a voice. It must be extremely difficult and hard to try to share their story, [but] the more stories that are shared, hopefully, the less it will happen." Of course, Bella is now dating rapper Mod Sun, but, obviously, there will always be a connection between her and Gregg. While we're not totally sure how they chatted – whether it was over the phone or in person – it's nice to know that Gregg still keeps tabs on her and reaches out when Bella might need an old friend.

As we've all seen since their breakup back in August of 2016, they've remained in each other's lives as friendly exes. This is something Gregg opened up about during his recent appearance on The Zach Sang Show and he's totally cool with the fact he'll always be connected to Bella.

"I do [still talk to her], we're still friends. I think it's important to be friends with your exes if you can. From my own personal experiences and my relationships in my life in general, I don't really have any bad feelings with anybody so I just think you wish them well and you were with that person for X amount of time for whatever reasons and you obviously respect them as a human otherwise you wouldn't have been with them. So, of course, you just want the best for them. Thankfully we still like each other!" Gregg said about his relationship with Bella.

Aww, how sweet is that? He'll always care about Bella and she's made it clear she feels the exact same way about him too, which she shared to Complex back in June of 2017.

"Gregg and I are so close — we hang out all the time. Gregg helped me grow up and helped me through such an important and impactful time in my life. He has such great intentions. This guy is in-f–king-credibly nice and obviously ridiculously good looking and funny and charming," Bella said. So yes, looks like these two will always value time their time together as a couple, no matter what. We know Bella is happily dating rapper Mod Sun now, but Gregg is currently single at the moment. He was on an exclusive celeb dating app at one time, but ultimately, he's just hoping to meet his one true love the old-fashioned way.

"I was on one [app]. I have a love/hate relationship with them. I think they're great because that's how you do meet people. At the same time, you never get that first kind of interaction of meeting someone for the first time and that whole [sparks flying] fairytale," Gregg said. "But at the end of the day, my main goal besides producing and all of that is to have a family, and be a dad and raise a family and I would love to meet somebody. My parents have been married for 35 years, it's rare so I think I've seen that in front of me and I've always wanted to kind of follow in that footsteps so hopefully, I would love to find love. For sure."

Umm okay Gregg, pretty sure we can find a few girls who would gladly volunteer as tribute. Just saying.
