It’s official — Hailey Baldwin is now an aunt! Yep, the model’s older sister, Alaia, just welcomed her first baby — a little girl named Iris Elle Aronow — with her husband, Andrew Aronow, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.
“IRIS ELLE ARONOW! Born on 8/17/2020, 6lbs 11oz. She is absolutely perfect, we are all happy and healthy,” the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram. “Thank you so much @drthaisaliabadi for making our experience go as smoothly and as beautifully as I ever could have imagined. We love you!”
Andrew reposted the same picture, captioning it, “Welcome to the world Iris Elle Aronow! 8.17.20 We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally meet you. Thank you so much Dr. A for helping her have such a smooth journey to us!”
“What did I do to deserve you?” Alaia added alongside one more super cute snap of her new daughter.
Hailey was quick to take the the comment section and send her congratulations.
“My perfect baby girl and her BAD A** warrior mommy,” she replied.
For those who missed it, the couple first announced that they were expecting on April 17, 2020, when Alaia posted a snap of her husband kissing her growing baby bump.
“I made something extra special for @andrewaronow’s birthday this year….. #BABYARONOW coming to ya August 2020,” she wrote.
“We didn’t make any babies [during quarantine], so that’s that,” the blonde beauty said during PaleyFest LA presented by The Paley Center for Media on August 7, 2020. “Honestly, I really do think we’ve enjoyed this time.”
The 23-year-old explained that her beau was “supposed to be on tour,” but since it got postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, they’ve been “enjoying” their extra time together.
“Even through the quarantine, we’re still pretty newly married. We’ve just been … getting to know each other deeper,” she added. “We’ve been having a really fun summer, regardless of everything that’s been going on.”
