Don’t mess with Halsey! On Saturday, February 1, the “Without Me” singer stopped her pre-Super Bowl show in Miami, Florida and called out a concertgoer for repeatedly yelling her ex-boyfriend G-Eazy‘s name.
“If you say G-Eazy one more f**king time I will kick your a** out of this party. I will kick your f**king a** out of this party! Test me! F**king test me! You wanna get out of the crowd?!” the 25-year-old could be heard saying in a video clip recorded by another fan in the crowd. “Who was it? It’s you? Who said G-Eazy? Who’s f**king yelling it? ‘Cause I’ll kick your a** out of the f**king club. You won’t disrespect me like that at my own show.”
Halsey was met with support from other members of the crowd who cheered her on as she berated the troll. Later on in the concert, the singer led the crowd in a “f**k that guy” chant.
Although she didn’t explicitly address the incident, Halsey seemingly reference the viral moment on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, February 2.
“Don’t ever let someone make [you] feel crazy or unhinged ’cause [you’re] a woman standing up for [yourself],” she wrote. “Don’t tolerate disrespect in the name of being ‘nice.’ Love [you].”
As fans know, Halsey and G-Eazy first parted ways in July 2018. The singer addressed the split in a since-deleted Instagram Stories post and wrote, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart.”
They briefly reconciled and broke up once again in October 2018 after reports surfaced that G-Eazy had cheated on Halsey. Now, the songstress is in a relationship with American Horror Story actor Evan Peters. The couple made their relationship Instagram official on January 21, 2020, when Halsey posted a photo of them kissing to celebrate Evan’s birthday.
“Happy birthday, darling. I can’t imagine a world without you in it,” she captioned the post.
