It’s almost time to see the music video that sparked a hundred memes. Yes, Harry Styles will finally be dropping his long-awaited music video for “Sign of the Times.”

The singer made the announcement in a very dramatic fashion, by posting a sixteen second teaser clip on Twitter. He wrote no caption or announcement to accompany the short clip, and to keep everything else surrounding the video a complete mystery – there was no glimpse of him either.

Fans only got to catch a few quick glimpses at the beautiful scenery, which featured a waterfall, a forest, and a mountain that will undoubtedly be featured, and the release date of the video was also revealed. Calendars are definitely marked for May 8th, which just so happens to be this coming Monday!

Although a time wasn’t given, fans will certainly be stalking Hazza’s Twitter and other social media accounts to see if any other hints about the video will be released until Monday.

This news comes just on the heels of the singer dropping a third song from his highly anticipated album, and selling out his gigantic first solo world tour within seconds. Needless to say, it must feel pretty good to be Harry right about now.

Fans of course have been having their own freak-out over the announcement, some not impressed with how long Hazza has waited to release the video, and finding their own ways to poke some fun at the teaser clip.

While other fans are having full fledged freak-outs over the influx of solo music that’s been released by the One Direction guys within the last couple of days.

No matter what way you look at it, there’s only one thing that’s certain at the moment – the countdown for “Sign of the Times” video release is totally on!
