Harry Styles made his big return to the X-Factor U.K. over the weekend and fans are completely dragging him for his "hilariously awful" performance. The "Sign of the Times" crooner hasn't been back on the stage since One Direction sang their hit "History" all together back at the end of 2015. It was right before they started their hiatus and Directioners went bonkers over the whole thing. Unfortunately, Hazza didn't get the same feedback while he was up there doing his solo thing.
Harry performed his song "Kiwi", the track he just recently released the music video for. He wore a dark purple suit yet fans on Twitter thought the whole thing was a little too extra. They thought his routine looked like a really bad impression of Mick Jagger – some even referenced the character Mr. Bean with Harry's gig. Of course, there was praise. His voice is absolutely incredible and no one can take that away from him. But, let's look at some of the mean tweets anyways.
One Twitter user said, "@Harry_Styles Hahahahahahaha, it was like Mr Bean does Mick Jagger. Hilariously awful. Congrats 😂 #XFactor."
Personally, I think he slayed the game. This is the Harry Styles that the One Direction Harry Styles has always wanted to be. He looked like he was having so much fun with his performance. He really rocked out, let loose and was dancing all over the place. He was probably channeling his inner Mick Jagger or David Bowie but he made it original. He gets an A+ in our book. Like we said before, the reviews weren't all bad.
Another Twitter user said, "Not only is Harry Styles a lyrical genius, talented & have a fantastic voice but also his stage presence it’s always on point, I would happily see him live again now he’s a solo artist 👨🏼🎤 #XFactor."
PREACH. Just in case you were super curious and wanted to make your own decision about Harry's X-Factor return, there's a full video and it's awesome. Okay, I'm done.
