Guys, it’s officially over! Yep, that’s right, after five epic seasons Henry Danger has come to a bittersweet end and fans are heartbroken. After the final episode aired on Saturday, March 21, the show’s star Jace Norman gave a heartfelt speech saying goodbye to the character that totally changed his life.

“I feel good about the way I wrap up my story, it’s bittersweet, but it’s kind of nice. There’s a certain amount of ‘we did it’ accomplishment. A lot of people are sad and there is a sadness to it, but it’s also like wow, we really did this and we really lit this up and I feel good about it,” the 20-year-old said in a behind-the-scene video. “I’m going to miss the crew. I’m going to miss the people that I basically grew up with. These faces that I see every day and they know me so well and I know them so well.”

For those who don’t know, the fan-favorite series also starred Riele DownsElla AndersonCooper BarnesSean Ryan FoxMichael D. Cohen and Jeffrey Nicholas Brown. It first premiered back in July 2015 and was all about a boy named Henry (AKA Kid Danger), who landed a job as a sidekick to the town’s well-known superhero, Captain Man. Henry had to balance being a superhero, saving the town and keeping his identity secret from his friends and family, all while attending school and dealing with homework, girls and everything else that comes with being a teenager. On October 15, 2019, Jace announced that Henry Danger was coming to an end via Instagram. He shared a behind-the-scenes snap from on set of the Nickelodeon series that showed a script for an episode called, “The Beginning Of The End.”

“All good things must come to an end,” Jace captioned the shot at the time.

Now that the time has come, the Nickelodeon star got super emotional when saying goodbye to the cast and crew.

“I’ve been trying to think of what to say, but when you spend six years and when you’ve done what we’ve done, there really isn’t much to say. This has always been my dream, literally, this is not even real,” he said after filming wrapped, while holding back tears. “When I was five years old, I was watching TV and thinking, that’s what I want to do and now I’m here and it’s thanks to you guys and you’ll always be a part of my soul and Henry Danger will always be a part of my identity. This is magic in a bottle and I’m just glad that I could be a part of it, thank you.”
