High School Musical 4 is happening, and we can't contain ourselves! The Disney Channel announced that they're starting a nationwide casting call for the fourth installment of the series. While there have been rumors of another High School Musical movie for a while, this comes as official confirmation, and it's the greatest news ever.

Sadly, this means Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron probably won't be starring in the movie, but we can hope for cameos from all your favorites. The cast recently reunited on live television for the 10th anniversary of the original, and now we're getting even more musical fabulousness? Our hearts are crying tears of joy.

However, there's something that's making us a little sad. Apparently, Kenny Ortega, the man behind the first three films, will not be involved. Instead, the Teen Beach Movie mastermind, Jeffrey Hornaday, will direct and choreography High School Musical 4. (Since we love the Teen Beach franchise, we have high hopes.)

Thankfully, the movie will still take place at East High, and will involve the original screenwriter of all the films, Peter Barsocchini, who is co-writing with Baby Daddy writer, Dan Berendsen.
