OMG, Hilary Duff is officially engaged! Yep, that’s right. The Younger actress’ longtime boyfriend Matthew Koma popped the question, and it’s safe to say they look happier than ever. The Disney Channel alum took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans and express her excitement.
“He asked me to be his wife,” the 31-year-old star wrote alongside a cute selfie, which shows off her dazzling engagement ring.
Her bae shared the same selfie on his Instagram account with the caption, “I asked my best friend to marry me.”
A bunch of Hilary’s famous friends took to the comments section to send their well wishes. “OMG my fave couple,” Ashley Tisdale wrote — while Lea Michele commented, “So happy for you babe!!!”
In case you missed it, Hilary split from her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, back in 2014 after four years of marriage. The two share their 6-year-old son, Luca Cruz, together. Shorty after their split, the “So Yesterday” singer and Matthew, 31, hit it off in 2015 when they were working on her album “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” Then, they made their first red carpet appearance in January 2017 at a pre-Sag Awards party. Now, the two share 6-month-old daughter, Banks Violet.
The lovebirds first announced they were expecting in June 2018.
“Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!” the former Lizzie McGuire star wrote alongside a photo of her boyfriend kissing her cheek while she flaunted her belly.
Their daughter, Banks, was born in October 2018 — and she’s seriously so precious! See?
