After tuning in for the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach 2, fans are left asking a very important question – will there be a Teen Beach 3? The TB2 cast sparked third installment rumors when they posted the video below chanting about Teen Beach and High School Musical – a Disney franchise that had three movies, the last of which hit theaters.
Teen Beach star Garrett Clayton even opened up to Variety at the sequel premiere party, explaining that he and his co-stars would be onboard should TB3 be announced in the future.
“I always say it depends on the script and the story you’re going to tell. I think we’ve all kind of said if it’s a good script, why wouldn’t we want to make it?" He asked, adding, "I have my own personal ideas of what it should be, but that’s just me.”
Clayton also spoke about the possibility of the third film hitting theaters, just like High School Musical 3: Senior Year, “I feel like we would have established a solid enough fanbase at that point that the audience is there for it so they would want to see it because they’d want to see how the story ends — especially if they’ve committed to being obsessed with two films.” We agree!
