Hello J-14ers,

When the staff and I got into work this morning, we had our usual Wednesday morning Gleek talk… but this morning was different. Normally we chat about all the funny moments and one-liners, but today the first thing that came out of everyone's mouths, including my own, is that we couldn't stop crying during the episode.

After last week's "Brittany/Britney" bonanza, Glee went raw and real in the episode, "Grilled Cheesus." Funny title, yes. But the subject matter was anything but. No matter what you may believe in or if you pray to a grilled cheesus, religion was the theme of the night.

As I mentioned in last week's blog, I knew tonight was going to require a box of tissues based on the preview alone. Between Kurt's heart-wrenching version of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" to Mercedes' "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (Man, that girl can SING!), a Kleenex did not leave my hand. (For the record, the only other time I've cried during a Glee episode is on last year's season finale when New Directions sang "To Sir, with Love.")

But even in the seriousness of the episode, Glee did deliver some of it's famous one-liners to lighten to mood. My personal favorite was Tina said, "Last week we were too sexy, this week we're too religious. We can't win!' and Brittany replied, "Now i know what Miley feels like." LOL

I'm not going to share my personal religious beliefs, but I will say this – I believe in the power of Glee.

What was your favorite moment of last night's episode? Did you cry?

xoxo,
Kim
