J-14 is scouting out the hottest bands around… and this week's pick is the It Boys.

Here are five things you need to know about the It Boys, whose debut album, The Dream, hits stores in May!

  1. The It Boys (Matt Cutshall, Judah Leary, Tommy Coops, Duck Leary, and Jeff Oster) were founded by Good Charlotte's Benji and Joel Madden!

  2. The It Boys officially formed about seven months ago — and started recording without a name! "When we were in studio recording out first song, 'Miss Hollywood,' we were nameless," they tell J-14. "We all had an inside thing that everything great or awesome was IT. If Judah was wearing a sick jacket, his jacket was IT! If Duck just got a number from a really cute girl, that situation was IT. As we were in the studio talking about "IT" parts of the song, we were all excited about our hard work and it dawned on us – It Boys!"

  3. The bands' fave track off The Dream is "End Of The World." "The song is simply about having a great time!" they explain. "Throw your problems out the window, don't worry about anything, and just party like there's no tomorrow!"

  4. The guys were influenced by rock bands like Weezer, New Found Glory, The Get Up Kids, and Blink 182, but there's one famous singer you might hear blasting from their car. "Turn on the van and anything from Justin Bieber to Underoath could be on," they admit to J-14. "It really depends on the day or who drove the night before!" And there's a good chance that van is headed for Wal-Mart — it's their fave place to stop while touring!

  5. They're crushing on some of your fave stars! Judah thinks he'd "be compatible" with Taylor Swift, while Matt loves all of the Gossip Girl ladies. And thanks to "Party in the USA," Tommy's got a crush on Miley Cyrus!
