After everything that went down with James Charles, the beauty guru is seriously over the drama. The makeup mogul took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 9, to address his haters once and for all.

“There have been a lot of comments on my page, my friends’ pages and brand pages that I am associated with about recent events on social media,” he wrote. “I am going to have to deal with these lies, accusations and being called horrible names for the rest of my life, and it f–king sucks. But I have already proven the accusations to be 100 [percent] false, and at this point, there is not much more I can do. I have to be patient, show my true character, but also understand that there will ALWAYS be people who do not want to believe the full story because to many, drama is more entertaining than the truth. It’s sad, but this is the internet culture we created, and I don’t want these people following me anyway.”

The 20-year-old also had a very important message to his fans.

“I know that a LOT of you guys want to defend me, and I appreciate that, but I ask that if you do, do it politely. PLEASE,” he continued. “The best way to combat rumors and lies is with kindness, maturity and facts. Don’t be mean, don’t call names and don’t stoop to their level. It’s unnecessary and if we’ve learned anything from the past few weeks, it’s that negativity and fighting gets us nowhere. Please be kind or don’t say anything at all. Negativity will be blocked. Love you all.”

OK, we couldn’t agree more! As fans know, James came under fire last month after his fellow YouTuber and former friend, Tati Westbrook, posted a 40-minute video, called “Bye Sister,” accusing social media influencer of manipulating straight men, sabotaging her vitamin company and being an all-around bad friend. The video pretty much shook the web, and in the days that followed, James lost over 3 million subscribers. Not to mention that a bunch of his celebrity and YouTuber friends unfollowed him on Twitter and Instagram.

But on May 18, James posted a video of his own. It was filled with detailed receipts, which seemingly proved the allegations to be false. Now, it’s pretty clear that he wants to move on with his life.
