YouTuber Jeffree Star is not here for people accusing him of mistreating his dogs! The beauty guru just clapped back at critics who suggested that he wasn’t treating his animals right, and his response was everything.
For those who missed it, the makeup mogul revealed that one of his six Pomeranians, Diva, was having stomach problems on Friday, April 17.
“Hi anxiety, how are ya? My 11 year old dog, Diva, is at the vet right now with swollen abdominal issues, so they are giving him medicine and an ultrasound and X-Rays,” he tweeted. “He’s smiling and in really good spirits. I’m probably more nervous than he is.”

But when one fan mentioned that the social media star’s pets “seem to have a lot of issues” and suggested it was Jeffree’s fault, he was not amused.
“I love you @JeffreeStar, but your dogs seem to have a lot of issues. What are you feeding your babies? Hope its not fast (processed) food! Honey! Hope all is well!” the person wrote, to which Jeffree quickly fired back in a now-deleted tweet, “Wow, I’m signing off the internet for today. Diva is 11 and has had a perfect life. Just sharing him being sick when all the other dogs are fine is scary and worrisome. And I’m not acknowledging the food, they are treated like royalty.”
The interaction came just six months after the makeup mogul revealed that his his pup, Daddy, had unfortunately passed away after suffering complications from an emergency surgery needed to treat an abscess in his liver.
#RIPDaddyStar 💔 With heavy hearts we have to share the devastating news that our dog Daddy passed away early this morning. His body couldn’t handle the surgery + the complications of his medical condition. I can’t put into words how much we love our pets and how much this hurts pic.twitter.com/qIDcFVQy4u
