It’s always fun to think about the jobs your favorite celebrities might have had if they hadn’t become famous, right? Well guys, Jeffree Star just revealed that if his YouTube career hadn’t taken off, he would be “doing makeup on dead people” right now. OMG.
While revealing the shades for his brand new “Cremated” eyeshadow palette, the makeup mogul explained that he was planning to go to college to become a mortuary beautician before he found fame.
“Fun fact, little Jeffree Lynn was going to go to college to do makeup on dead people when MySpace happened and my entire life changed,” he said in a recent video. “So, if I wasn’t doing this, what would I be doing? Now you know.”
Wow, how crazy is that?! It turns out, some of your other favorite stars have also opened up about their career paths before they became famous. Just take Harry Styles, for example. This may be hard to believe, but he worked in a bakery when he was younger!
“He was the most polite member of staff we’ve ever had,” his old boss told Daily Mail. “Customers really took a shine to him.”
What about Taylor Swift? You guys may be shocked to learn that the singer actually grew up on a Christmas tree farm, and long before she was belting out her hit songs on stage, her job was to pick the bugs off of the trees before customers bought them!
And get this — before she started stomping the catwalk, Kendall Jenner was stomping the streets of Los Angeles. Yep, the model revealed while participating in Vogue‘s 73 Questions that her first job was a dog walker.
