Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just announced their engagement about a month ago and now his brother, Nick Jonas, is opening up about the pair’s relationship. To be honest, thank goodness he did because most fans know next to nothing about Jophie. They are super private and are rarely photographed together. They also aren’t huge social media gurus so it’s hard to catch these two publicly showing off their romance. The first time the world starting figuring out Joe and Sophie even knew each other existed was when they were caught cuddling at a concert last November.
A source told People magazine, “They were really close together. I didn’t look very often because I was seated more in front of the room. The two or three times I was watching they were kissing. She was all smiley and he looked really sweet.” Now, Nick is spilling much more than that and it’s all too sweet.
The “Levels” singer spoke with Entertainment Tonight at a press junket for the new animated film, Ferdinand, he said about Joe, “I can tell you that he found his partner and love of his life. That’s all that matters. It’s a beautiful thing.” While Joe and Sophie really were only dating for about a year before he popped the question, it’s clear in Nick’s eyes that when you know you’ve found the right person, you just know.
Nick even chatted about how the upcoming holiday season will go for the newly engaged couple. He said usually a Jonas Thanksgiving revolves around, “good movies, good times, [sitting] around the fire.” And Sophie fits right in with the Jonas crew. Nick explained, “It’s all love. She was with us last year as well, so she already had her first sort of Jonas experience.” Aww! Now we’re just hoping that someone in the family snaps a few photos of the holidays. If not this year, maybe we’ll see some next because it’s safe to say Sophie is in it for the long run with Joe.
