JoJo Siwa is certainly on a roll, and she’s not slowing down anytime soon. At only 14 years old, the Dance Moms alumna has already had successful careers as a mega dancer, a television star, and even a businesswoman with her line of JoJo Bows. JoJo and her mother were permanent members on Abby Lee Miller‘s all-star dance team until the second half of the sixth season of the series. The pair departed from the show in 2016, after JoJo signed with Nickelodeon. It’s heralded a new phase of her career — including a hosting gig on Lip Sync Battle Shorties.

JoJo is hosting Lip Sync Battle Shorties alongside Nick Cannon.

In the summer of 2017, it was announced that the YouTuber would be joining Nick Cannon as the host of Lip Sync Battle Shorties. Since she’s literally so good at musical.ly (just ask her millions of followers), she’ll be such a great judge. The show premieres on January 12, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and will air on Nickelodeon on Friday evenings.

JoJo is always releasing new music, and dropped the music video for “Hold the Drama” in August 2017.

JoJo premiered the music video for her hit song “Hold The Drama” last summer. The final product is everything we could ever want from the spunky star. We love the bright colors, the sparkly pants, and of course — the bows! Check out the video below.

You’ve probably also heard her infectious tracks like “Boomerang,” which has an amazing message about dealing with the haters, and “Kid in a Candy Story.”

She starred in her own Nickelodeon special, JoJo Siwa: My World.

Nickelodeon will also showcase a special about the multi-talented teen later this month, called JoJo Siwa: My World. The show takes fans behind the scenes and into the depths of JoJo’s life, all leading up to her huge performance at the Mall of America. The special premiered on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon.

While catching up with JoJo at the Sugar Factory in New York City, she clued us in to the special and all that she’s been up to since leaving Dance Moms. Trust us, she’s been up to A LOT. JoJo is ready to keep on climbing with a new music video, a Nickelodeon special, and a feature length film.

“It’s all leading up to my performance at Mall of America. So my performance at Mall of America is basically what it’s around, so that’s at the end of it. Then it’s really just my story: my life and how I got here, and the rehearsals for Mall of America and what it really took, and my life at home. It was really fun!” she told us.

JoJo is starring in a full-length movie with Jace Norman, Inside Voice.

Most recently, JoJo has been working on a feature length film called Inside Voice. She will be starring as “Victoria” in the upcoming TV-Movie on Nickelodeon. Though she has acted before on television, the role is actually JoJo’s first part in a movie. The YouTuber revealed, “It’s actually a lot different than I would have thought it was! Because I’ve done acting on TV shows, but never in a movie. This is my first movie ever. And everyone said that I did really good!”

Through the filming process, the starlet got the chance to work with Henry Danger lead Jace Norman. The two stars quickly became close friends. “He’s honestly one of those people on set who’s just fun to work with,” JoJo told J-14. “He’s kind of like the older brother type.” Um, awww!

And in case you were wondering, no, JoJo will not be sporting one of her signature bows on the big screen. I know, we’re shook too! We’re already struggling to imagine what she’ll look like without her signature ‘do.

“It’ll be a change,” JoJo explains. “You’ll see! I’m playing a character, so I’m not supposed to be JoJo. I got to wear bows! But not JoJo bows.”

She is still wearing her signature JoJo Bows and selling them at stores like Justice and Claire’s.

JoJo loves it when fans come up to her sporting her bows. She told us, “You know, I just always wear bows. I always love bows and it’s always been my thing. And then it just kind of evolved, and now it’s here…It just like evolved and slowly and slowly got better and bigger and amazing-er. [Fans come up to me with their bows] all the time! It’s so cool. I’ll be on the street and they’ll be like, they’ll just come up and I’m like ‘You have a JoJo bow on!’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah!’ And I’m like, ‘Cool!’ It’s crazy.”

But JoJo hasn’t forgotten about her Dance Moms roots.

Dance Moms was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life!” JoJo told us. “Literally, Dance Moms was so amazing and I have the world to thank for that. They were so awesome — the set, the cast, the crew — it was amazing. It’s my platform, it’s how I’m here now. And so for me, moving on from that was really, really hard. But now it’s so cool! I signed with Nickelodeon, like that’s unbelievable!” What a career you’ve had, JoJo!
