Since Hailey Baldwin recently changed her last name to Bieber on Instagram (talk about a major statement!) and Justin Bieber started referring to the model as his wife, we can all assume that the two went and tied the knot under the radar. But since there was no public wedding ceremony or big, spectacular party, we’re not gonna lie, we were all a little disappointed. Especially since we low-key hoped for some adorable pics of Hailey in her gorgeous wedding dress and Justin, 24, in a swoon-worthy tux. But don’t worry guys, a source just revealed to People Magazine that although they already got married back in September, they still want to have a big wedding! Phew, that’s such a relief.
“After being married for a few weeks, they both realized that they actually felt like husband and wife without having a religious ceremony,” the source explained. “They want to openly celebrate their marriage. This is why Hailey decided to change her name. She loves being married to Justin. They are still planning a wedding and a religious ceremony.”
Thank goodness. We can hardly contain our excitement imagining all the iconic stars that might attend this wedding — considering both Justin and Hailey have a huge array of celebrity friends! Some attendees might include Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, who have both been friends with the “Love Yourself” singer for a while. Hailey’s BFFs Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Shawn Mendes might also make the guest list. Shawn, who’s been close with the 22-year-old for years, even told Access that he wanted to sing at the wedding!
“Of course I would sing. I’m not invited yet, but I’m sure something will happen soon,” Shawn said at the time.
Ugh this is truly going to be an iconic wedding and we can’t wait!
