UH OHKaty Perry Just Beat Taylor Swift and Taylor’s Going to Be Upset!

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are bitter rivals, and it looks like Katy just got a leg up on Taylor that we can't imagine the "Bad Blood" singer will be happy with! It was just announced that Katy is the most popular person on Twitter – she beat out Justin Bieber too!

Katy is the first person to reach 80 million followers on Twitter, while Taylor is still sitting at 68.9 million and Justin has 72.9 million.

Katy recently said about her Tweets, and why fans love them so much, "I would say 90 per cent of my Tweets, I've just made them up and you can tell because many of them are misspelled and full of typos. But the other five per cent is work related or it's just to keep people in the know about where I'm playing or if I'm doing a show and I always get really confused."

Taylor doesn't like to not be number 1, so we have a feeling she will soon launch a campaign to get her more Twitter followers!

They sang a duet of "Hot 'n Cold," totally rocked out together on stage, and solidified their bestie status.

They met while working on their song, "Half of My Heart," together. When they broke up a few months later, she wrote the scathing breakup track, "Dear John," about their relationship — which made it even more scandalous when Katy started dating him.

The only catch was, they'd have to leave the Red tour early. They said it was a no brainer!

"Obviously we were with Katy for two-and-a-half years, she's like family to us, so we were, like, 'absolutely'," Lockhart said.

"We weren't really dancing in Taylor's tour anyway so I had got a little bored and I really wanted to do a promo tour."

In 2013, Katy revealed that she got a lock of Taylor's hair at the Grammys…and put it in her purse.

Everything seemed cool between them when she gave the interview, so she had no clue Taylor was mad at her!

"One of the first times I went to the Grammys, I got to share a dressing room with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, and I asked them for a lock of their hair from each one of them, which is totally creepy, but awesome," she said.

"I put little bows on them individually and put them in my purse. And that was my little secret and I'm a freak!"

While promoting her new album 1989, she gave an interview with Rolling Stone and confessed that she wrote "Bad Blood" about her pop star nemesis.

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."
