From the looks of it, Kelly Clarkson has no time for the haters! Yep, the songstress recently clapped back at an internet troll who spoke out about why her marriage to Brandon Blackstock didn’t work out.

In a since-deleted tweet, the hater commented on Kelly taking over for Simon Cowell on America’s Got Talent following his recent back injury. For those who missed it, the judge was hospitalized after breaking his back while test riding his electric bicycle in Malibu, CA on August 9.

According to screenshots, the since-removed tweet read, “No wonder her marriage didn’t work… Surprise she has time for her kids… Not the good old country girl we fell in love with… It’s all about Kelly being on TV… And no one else… No tears for her… but for her kids.”

“Wow,” the American Idol alum responded. “Shaming a woman who has a great work ethic, is a great mom and who steps up and fills in when a friends asks for a favor because that’s actually what ‘good old country girls’ do… This can’t be who you are deep down. I have more faith in your heart. Aim higher please.”

For those who missed it, in June, the songstress filed for divorce from her husband due to irreconcilable differences, and submitted the papers to the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, according to court documents obtained by J-14 on June 11. The case was classified as “dissolution with minor children.”

The couple got married back in 2013, and since then, they have welcomed two children together — five-year-old daughter, River Rose, and four-year-old son, Remington Alexander. The music manager also has two children from his previous marriage.

“They clashed on so many levels, and being in quarantine together heightened their problems to the point of no return,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June about the split. “So she filed for divorce.”
