Some fans are not happy with the amount of money Kylie Jenner spent on a hotel room. The reality star has come under fire for reportedly paying $75,000 a night for a penthouse suite at the Mark Hotel in New York City back in May 2019.

The hotel room is 10,000-square feet, and has been dubbed the largest penthouse in the country. It features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, one library lounge, one living room (which can be transformed into a full-sized grand ballroom), one dining room (that can seat 12 people), two powder rooms, two bars, 26-foot ceilings, four fireplaces and access to a rooftop terrace with views of Central Park.

A bunch of fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the matter, with some slamming the makeup mogul for spending so much money on something so superficial.

“I just feel like being a billionaire shouldn’t be an excuse to make radical decisions like paying almost a hundred thousand for one room,” one fan wrote on Instagram. “I’m sure there are rooms just as nice for a MUCH cheaper price. You’re a billionaire, good for you, you don’t need to remind us/yourself this way. We already know and we’re proud of you. Idk man, maybe I’m just bugging. And I don’t wanna tell her how to spend her money but yo, 75k is a lot of money for a hotel room.”

“Idc how rich I am, I would never spend this much on a room,” another fan added.

For those who missed it, this comes just weeks after the 22-year-old made headlines for donating $1 million to coronavirus relief efforts. The money will be used to buy face masks, face shields and protective gear for medical professionals. It was also reported that her makeup company will be producing hand sanitizer “dedicated to first responders working to support our communities.” The product will be donated to hospitals in Southern California.
