After Kylie Jenner took to Instagram and shared photos from her recent trip to Paris, France, the reality star faced major backlash from fans who called her out for seemingly ignoring the non-essential travel ban amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite coming under fire from her 193 million followers, who took to the comment section of her Instagram post and wondered where her mask was, the 23-year-old continued to post snapshots to her Instagram Stories from the Louvre Museum.

“Your mask looks beautiful,” one follower wrote. “If we all have to stay home, so do you.”

According to reports, the makeup mogul took the trip to meet with cosmetics company Coty and its CEO, Peter Harf.

“She was able to enter the country on a business exemption,” a source told E! News. “She had meetings for her cosmetics brand and brought friends along to make a trip out of it.”

Kylie was spotted with Fai Khadra, who also posted pictures from the trip. The insider also added that they plan to return to California “in the next few days.”

As fans know, this isn’t the first time Kylie has been called out for a vacation amid the pandemic. In July, fans slammed Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner after they posted photos from a vacation in Utah with friends. The reality stars headed out of Los Angeles for a weekend getaway at the time.

“Be back soon,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder captioned an Instagram photo from the vacation at the Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point. Kendall and her friends Fai Khadra and Zack Bia also posted various snaps on their Instagram Stories, despite the state’s recommendation that residents avoid prolonged, unmasked contact with those outside of their homes. California has also prohibited nonessential travel and all residents are “currently ordered to stay home or at their place of residence.”

The sisters did not respond to the fan backlash.
