Ever since Netflix dropped the gem of the movie that is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, everyone has been waiting to find out if a sequel film is happening. The beloved rom-com tells the cute AF love story between Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky and happens to be based on author Jenny Han’s series that features three books. So naturally, there is more than enough source material to make a second movie! And while fans and the cast want it to happen, star Lana Condor is getting a bit worried about if it really is going to come true.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 21-year-old actress admitted that the cast still hasn’t heard anything from Netflix as to if and when another movie is in the works. She’s a bit worried that as more time passes by, the actors’ schedules will get more filled and filming might not be possible.

“Nothing’s official but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I’ve heard stuff, but I think there’s a very high chance we’ll get a sequel,” Lana said. “But they better hop on it pretty soon because Noah [Centineo] and I — I’m on the show [Deadly Class]. I’m doing a movie in Romania. He’s doing Charlie’s Angels. He’s doing another movie that he just booked. It comes down to availability and I hope they lock us in soon.”

Girl does have a point. Both Lana and Noah have been slaying the game ever since the movie’s release, working non-stop on other projects, and their other co-star Janel Parrish is busy filming her TV show as well. They all have a lot going on!

“What if we get a Season 2 [of Deadly Class]? Some shows get picked up for Seasons 2 and 3, and shoot back to back. I think they’re trying to be strategic but hopefully they’ll lock it in,” Lana said. “Janel’s on [Pretty Little LiarsThe Perfectionists, so like, they really gotta lock it down, I’m telling ya! We all want a sequel.”

Okay, now we’re getting a bit worried out here. If you remember the way the TATBILB ended, there was a cliffhanger end-credits scene in which another boy Lara Jean wrote a love letter to, John Ambrose, comes to her door-step, flowers in hand. For those who read the book series, then you already know John plays a role in the Covinsky ship’s evolution and honestly, we just need this movie to happen. The cast really is still super close with each other too, which Lana totally gushed about.

“I talk to Anna [Cathcart] and Janel all the time. I was just on the phone with Noah a couple days ago because we were filling each other in with Charlie’s Angels and with this show,” she said.

Okay, now that just warmed our hearts. Netflix, it’s your move. Time to make all our dreams come true, please and thanks.
