We were all pretty blown away by Lana Condor‘s gorgeous Met Gala look. In case you missed it, the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star dazzled in a big, pink, ruffled dress. But the actress just revealed that she had a pretty awkward and hilarious moment during the star-studded event, which took place on Monday, May 5, when her purse legit got lost in the enormous gown!
Eva Chen, author and close friend of the 21-year-old, took to her Instagram Stories to share what went down, and we cannot stop laughing.
“True story: @LanaCondor’s dress was so big she lost her purse in it,” she wrote.
And Lana reposted her story, adding, “This really happened.”
LOL. So in an attempt to find the purse, the ladies decided to try calling Lana’s phone, which was inside. But unfortunately, that didn’t work.
“We literally had to call it and she had to see if she could feel it vibrating,” Eva wrote.
“And the answer was, no, I did not feel it vibrate,” Lana added. “And [at] this point I was convinced I’d never find it.”
But luckily, Charles Melton came to the rescue!
“Such a gentleman! @Melton used his flashlight and went under the table to find this for @LanaCondor,” Eva continued, alongside a snap of the three holding up the purse. Phew, we are so glad she was able to find it!
“But then @Melton swooped in and saved the day!” Lana gushed.
Yay! OK, can we talk about how epic it is that the Riverdale star and the Netflix actress hung out? Talk about two worlds colliding! And that’s not all because Charles’ girlfriend, Camila Mendes, was also there! Eva also shared an adorable clip of the ladies dancing together, and we were living for it.
It was definitely an eventful evening.
