When it comes to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix – we have no complaints. The hit teen rom-com is a true blessing to us all, and if you have not seen it yet, well then, what are you waiting for? Not only has Peter Kavinsky (AKA Noah Centineo) become the Internet’s dream boyfriend, but everyone can totally see themselves in Lara Jean. Not to mention, she’d make the coolest bestie. Everything about the movie is true perfection – however, there’s one detail that remains a bit confusing. And it’s during one of the most memorable moments of the movie – that steamy hot tub scene.
As we know, Peter and Lara Jean have a make out session in the hot tub while they’re on the highly-anticipated ski trip. Lara Jean goes in the water in her nightgown, exits the hot tub, and then before we know it, she plops down into her bed in that same nightgown. AND IT’S DRY. But how? Fans took to Twitter to share their confusion on the matter – because honestly, there’s no freakin’ way any piece of clothing could’ve dried that fast after being fully immersed in water.

Another fan wrote, “Yes that spa scene in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is incredible but how did Lara Jean dry her nightgown after the spa? Did she go straight to bed with a wet nightgown? Wasn’t she cold?? Did she find a bathroom and put it under a hand dryer???”

LOL, this whole thing seriously has us scratching our heads. This wasn’t the only plot hole that fans have taken a notice to. There’s also that whole scrunchie situation. Did she ever get it back? It seemed as though the scrunchie held so much significance, and then we just never heard about it again. Hey, maybe we’ll find out in the sequel everyone’s hoping for. After all, they did lead us to believe there would be more to the story in the end credit scene.
All we know is this nightgown wizardry will always be a mystery.
