Little Mix is currently on tour with Ariana Grande and they are performing for sold out venues. Their latest concert was at the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California, yet there was only three of the foursome that made it onto the stage. Why? Leigh-Anne Pinnock reportedly suffered a severe burn injury backstage.
The Daily Mail is reporting that she burned both of her legs on a vocal steamer. The source said, "Leigh-Anne burnt her legs backstage on her vocal steamer. She will be fine and is soldiering on." Even though the source assured fans that Leigh-Anne will quickly recover, she was forced to sit this concert out and watch from the wings as Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall performed on stage.
A fan uploaded a video of Jade talking about Leigh-Anne and why she wasn't able to do the whole show with them. The kind of support that these girls have for one another is something to look up to. Not only do they show fans what it means to help someone out when they need it the most, but we can really see their friendship when it comes to stuff like this. They have each other's backs no matter what the situation is.
However, Leigh-Anne really didn't want to let anyone down, so she joined the group on stage towards the end of their set. She was wearing two large bandages on her legs. While Leigh-Anne is a total trooper, if the burns were as big as the bandages, there's no doubt that she was severely hurt.
Some fans even took to social media to express their feelings about the whole thing and they were super supportive.
One Mixer tweeted, "LEIGH ANNE IS A STRONG ICONIC LEGEND. get better soon queen i love y'all💗💘💖 @LittleMix #LittleMixAnaheim."
Another user tweeted:
This is really cute and goes to show how amazing their fans are. Leigh-Anne will expectedly be ready for the girls next performance and we have a feeling she's going to be back and better than ever.
