Actress Lili Reinhart just clapped back at fans who accused her of doing drugs. The Riverdale star addressed speculation that she was “stoned” on the Gotham Awards red carpet, after her eyes appeared to be very red in photos from the event.

“A few people think I was stoned last night. Truthfully, I was not,” the 23-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 3. “I had slept for only [five] hours and I usually need at least [nine] hours to be a functioning human. But, thanks for pointing out my bloodshot eyes, nice to know you guys can tell when I’m dead inside.”

Although blonde beauty may have looked a little sleepy, she still looked absolutely stunning, TBH.

For those who missed it, Lili recently made headlines for slamming the use of body editing apps like FaceTune or Photoshop.

“This morning I was looking for an app that would help me resize my photos to better fit Instagram. And then I came across this app,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a screenshot of an app called BodyTune. “This is not okay. This is why people develop eating disorders. This is why social media has become hazardous to our health. This is why people have unrealistic expectations of their bodies.”

“I implore you: do not use these kinds of apps,” the Hustlers star continued. “If you photoshop your body, you are adding to this problem. This is how unrealistic standards of human bodies have been created — to the point where people alter their bodies surgically to achieve unattainable results.”

“We are better than this,” she added. “Looking ‘skinner’ in a photo on Instagram is not worth the detrimental psychological effects that these photoshopping apps have given our generation. Our bodies should not conform to ‘one size fits all.'”

“People who use these apps and alter their bodies are clearly suffering from low self esteem, body dysmorphia or other mental health problems,” Lili concluded. “My heart goes out to those people who feel like their bodies aren’t good enough. But please don’t encourage this behavior.”
