The up-and-coming singer and songwriter just dropped his brand new single, “Easy,” and lucky for you guys, we have an exclusive first listen. The song is seriously a bop, so grab your headphones, get ready to dance and make sure you listen to it above!
The 17-year-old also opened up exclusively to J-14 about what the new track is all about.
“We’ve all had someone we’ve met who just blows the scale of any human you’ve ever met with every quality. That’s what this song is about,” he told us.
And get this, you guys — Lukas worked with music producer Matt Beckley on the new tune. Matt has actually worked with some of our favorite artists in the past, including 5 Seconds of Summer, Camila Cabello, Justin Bieber, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and more. So yeah, talk about an epic duo!
“It was my first time recording in LA. Me and the producer came across a guitar loop that we liked a lot. We started writing to it and the melody came right away,” the musician shared. “We then had a full song to this loop track but we felt there was more. I reached out to Matt to produce it and he really brought it to life. It’s my first single and I’m really proud of how it turned out.”
As fans know, Lukas first rose to fame after he appeared on the ABC reality series Boy Band. After that, he started posting covers to his YouTube channel. He’s gone on to accumulate almost 100 thousand followers on Instagram and almost 10 thousand subscribers on the video streaming sight! He’s dropped a few singles already, including the bops “Speechless” and “Don’t Say,” and we seriously cannot stop listening to them.
