A new chapter has officially started for Louis Tomlinson, and everyone could not be more excited about it.
Over the weekend, it was announced on Twitter that Tommo had officially signed on to be a part of the Epic Records family – which also includes, Fifth Harmony, Zara Larsson, Meghan Trainor, and Mariah Carey among hundreds of other amazing artists. Without a doubt, the former One Direction boy will be in good company.
So how did this all come about? Turns out the president of Epic Records, Sylvia Rhone heard "Back to You" and worked hard to get him signed onto the label.
She told Variety that his music “is the perfect bridge from his past to his future, and we are just as excited as the fans to experience his journey and growth.”
The obvious talent he has got Tommo to where he is now, and fans could not have been more proud of him for reaching this major milestone – which also means a solo album will be on the way soon too!

Please treat him with the respect he deserves. He is a talented singer/songwriter and an awsome person who deserves only the best.— Connie (@virtualmom) July 14, 2017
i'm so emotional, 16 year old louis never imagined he would be here— em loves h (@slowhandshes) July 15, 2017
Louis didn’t stay mum on the big news for long either. All he needed to say about the announcement was summed up perfectly with the “ 😎 ” emoji.
The “Just Hold On” singer getting signed off his two singles – one of which has already been released, can only mean that the rest of the music he has cooking up is going to be absolute fire.
Of course given the various teasers he's posted to his Instagram account and stories only confirms what everyone already knew, that “Back to You” featuring Bebe Rexha, is going to be one of the songs of the summer.
Now if only the song's release date of July 21st would hurry up and get here real soon, then everything would totally be set.
