Noah Centineo is passing the torch to his buddy Luke Benward! The pals both have Disney Channel pasts, and now, they’re both experiencing life as total Netflix movie heartthrobs. Noah was the first to see what super-stardom was like when his teen rom-coms To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser hit Netflix in summer 2018. It’s been quite a whirlwind for Noah, as he’s become the “internet’s boyfriend,” if you will. Well now, Noah’s longtime friend Luke is entering that same spotlight, as his Netflix movie Dumplin’ — which premiered on Dec. 7 — has received quite a lot of buzz. The 23-year-old actor plays Bo, a character as sweet and lovable as TATBILB‘s Peter Kavinsky. And turns out, the two it-guys hang out IRL all the time. *Swoon.*

And Noah seems to be gladly giving the Netflix crown to his friend. How do we know? Well, Noah reposted an article to his Instagram Stories, which basically said that he’s is being dethroned by Luke. “That’s my boi right there @labenward,” Noah wrote alongside the screenshot he shared. The fact that Noah and Luke are totally playing into the friendly rivalry just makes this whole thing just truly precious.

Fans seem to agree that Luke is everyone’s latest Netflix crush. One fan wrote, “Noah Centineo, your reign is over, Luke Benward just snatched the “impossibly perfect Netflix rom com boy” crown right off ya head.” While we’re living for Luke’s Netflix success, we think there’s room for both hotties, if we do say so ourselves!

While we’re obsessing over this whole Noah and Luke comparison, we’re also fangirling over another epic Netflix pairing. Fans who are new to the wonderful world of Luke Benward might not realize, but Dumplin’ is actually responsible for a pretty epic Disney Channel reunion. Luke and his old pal Dove Cameron both star in the film, and the two actually played love interests in the Disney Channel Original Movie Cloud 9. Yep, that’s right. How sweet?!
