For just a moment there it seemed like the world was finally moving on from fidget spinners. It looked as if the shelf-life of these self-motorizing propellor toys, which have been banned from schools and name dropped by celebrities that are desperate to seem hip, was coming to an end. But, then Lush entered the game.

Over at the cosmetic company’s experimental kitchen in Poole they have cooked up a bubble bath gadget. Like your bog-standard anti-stress spinner, it has three lobes with a plastic axis that can be spun. But, unlike any other on the market, its orbs dissolve under your bath’s taps creating citrus bubbles to be soaked in. Talk about stress-reducing!

Lush describes the £4.95 ($5.84) reusable bubble bar as: "For those days where you just can't sit still, take some time for a soak in citrus bubbles and emerge clearer and brighter minded. So, be one of the first to give it a spin!"

Okay, we admit, it’s a little basic of us, but we’d be lying if we didn’t say we wanted one. And, as it turns out we’re not the only ones. After one day on sale, the Bubble Spinner sold out! Lush revealed: "For those days where you just can't sit still, take some time for a soak in citrus bubbles and emerge clearer and brighter minded. So, be one of the first to give it a spin!" Look out for a Lush-cious spinner in a store near you…
