Madison Beer and Jack Gilinsky’s relationship looked perfect from the outside, but behind closed doors, things were much different. After an audio recording was leaked of Jack yelling at Madison during a fight they had last year, in which he called her disturbing names, fans went wild over it giving their opinions on both sides of the situation.
Since everything has come out, Madison and Jack have revealed that they are actually officially broken up after more than three years of dating on and off. They have both released statements regarding the incident and things finally seemed to be calming down – as much as they could. But then, Madison’s mother, Tracie Beer, took to social media to actually defend and offer support for Jack.

To no one’s surprise, this turned a lot of heads.
She wrote a comment on Jack’s apology note and said, “As upsetting as it was to hear you speak to @madisonbeer that way it was also so upsetting to hear that audio leaked & read all the derogatory comments towards you! You know how I feel about you. You’re a kind, well raised young man who spoke in anger which took me over 30 years to realize you should never do. Like you said, there is no excuse for your actions but you are human & like us all you made a mistake. For whatever it’s worth I forgive you, given hopefully you’ve learned a valuable lesson! This too shall pass Jackalindo.”

There’s no word yet on how Madison feels about this. Clearly, over the course of these last few years, Jack has become part of Madison’s family and built a relationship with her mother. While Tracie isn’t saying he was right in the situation, she is saying that everyone makes mistakes. And she’s right but because Madison and Jack are in the public eye and their relationship was in the spotlight, this may not have been completely appropriate to put out there.
Obviously, everyone is going to see it. It seems like Tracie isn’t trying to intentionally go against her daughter but it just seems odd she would offer such kind words so soon after everything basically exploded on the Internet.
There’s no telling if Tracie knew how bad the situation was between Madison and Jack, either. But, she’s definitely got people talking now. All we can do is hope that Madison is okay in the coming days.
Maybe next time Tracie wants to offer support after something of this caliber comes out, she should text her daughter’s ex instead of putting it out there for everyone else to see. We highly doubt she doesn’t have Jack’s number somewhere in her contact list…
