Within the last few months, Madison Beer has dealt with quite a lot, both professionally and personally.
The singer just released her new music video for “Dead” and fans are obviously trying to somehow connect it to her former relationship with Jack Gilinsky. Each has said their peace about the leaked audio and everything else that transpired, but fans are assuming that the songstress is somehow still throwing some major shade at her relationship with her ex.
This of course means that a lot of fans have been applauding the singer for not being afraid to share a side of herself and her life, while others have been throwing some not so nice comments her way.
Dealing with haters on social media is something Madison has discussed in the past, and admits that it hasn’t gotten any easier for her. “It’s just something I’ve been able to navigate and convert into positive energy,” she dished to People in a new interview.
“You can’t please everyone. As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters. I don’t give a s—. I don’t change myself for other people,” she continued to say.
What Madison has learned to do, is respond to the negativity in the most positive way she can. “A lot of times, responding is just as immature. So if I do respond, I have to do it with class and grace. Just show people that they don’t really know me," the singer explained.
“But if you want to crawl into a hole and cry and not talk to anyone, that’s OK too. I have felt that so many times. At the end of the day if you feel like you’re a good person and your intentions are good, then that’s all that matters,” she continued to say.
We just love what Madison had to say, and she’s absolutely right. What anyone else thinks of her doesn’t matter. She just needs to be happy with herself, and we have a feeling she totally is.
