Singer Maluma has finally broken his silence about what was really going on between him and Selena Gomez. The singer appeared on a Brazilian talk show and was asked about the "Hands to Myself" singer since there were some rumors some months ago that they were flirting on social media.
"What about Selena Gomez, what's going on with you? Are all four of you happy?," the host said referencing the singer's song "Felices Los 4" (which happens to be about a guy that has a girlfriend already, dating a girl who also has a boyfriend
Maluma laughed at the question and quickly said, "No, no I'm kidding. I'm kidding. We were in touch five or six months ago but nothing happened. She's very busy too so. We were talking about music…About work."

While Sel captioned one of her Instagram pictures using Maluma's song "Vente Pa Ca," and they followed each other on the social media platform, it seems like she does not follow him anymore.
When this all went down a few months ago, the Colombian singer was asked by Billboard about their interaction and how it felt to see her following him on Insta. "It was really cool to know that one of the biggest artists in the world knew who I was at least and that she followed me. It was great news. It would be incredible, it would be great. A dream come true [to work with her]."
He then addressed the singer directly in the video saying: "Selena, how are you? I would love to do a song with you. God bless you. You are a great role model, someone to admire. I have a great admiration for you. God bless you. Kisses."
Woah! Looks like their relationship was strictly professional but even though the collaboration did not happen, Maluma is ready for it to go down anytime and any place but since Selena unfollowed him, it looks like it might be a bit out of reach.
