After releasing their original song “Stuck on the Ceiling,” which was totally catchy AF, we’ve been listening to British pop duo Max & Harvey on repeat. The 15-year-old twin brothers made their claim to fame on musical.ly, and now have over 1 million followers on Instagram, 5.7 million followers on TikTok, and over 22 million total views on YouTube. They even won an award for “Favorite Social Music Artist” at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards and were nominated for “Social Star” at the iHeartRadio Awards 2018. Talk about impressive! The boys just wrapped up their headlining tour in the UK and Ireland, where Jenna Raine was their opening act. Now, they’ve truly outdone themselves, mashing up their song “Trade Heart” and Jenna’s “Us,” and we cannot stop listening!
“Trade Heart” has been stuck in our heads ever since the music video dropped last month. Now after hearing this acoustic mashup, we’ve fallen even more in love. Jenna — who at the age of 14 can already play piano, guitar, and ukulele — sounded perfect combined with the boys’ soothing voices.
But singing isn’t Max & Harvey’s only talent. They are amazing dancers too! Let’s not forget the time that the British brothers interviewed Liam Payne at Radio 1‘s Teen Awards where they made the “Strip That Down” singer dance the Backpack Kid dance, and it was hilarious.
In case you forgot, the Backpack Kid dance was made famous when a boy was caught on camera dancing during Katy Perry‘s “Swish Swish” performance on Saturday Night Live. When Liam told them that he didn’t know the dance, the boys had to teach him, and what better place to practice your moves than a red carpet right? So of course Max & Harvey taught him, right there, right then and it was epic.
