What if we told you Zombies actor Milo Manheim's mother was a Disney Channel star too? Well, it's true. Milo's mom Camryn Manheim is an actress, who has starred in a long list of television shows throughout her career. But believe it or not, Milo isn't the first Manheim to appear on Disney Channel. From her role on the network to her relationship with her son, we're breaking down everything you need to know about Milo Manheim's mom.
Camryn Manheim starred in Hannah Montana.
Not only did she appear on Disney Channel, but she starred alongside two of the most iconic Disney darlings ever – Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Yep, that's right. Milo's mom starred in none other than the hit series Hannah Montana. The 57-year-old actress played the role of Margo, the manager of Selena's character Mikayla. Yep, she was the sassy lady in charge of Hannah's biggest pop star rival.
She played this role in two 2007 episodes, titled "That's What Friends Are For?" and "I Want You to Want Me... to Go to Florida." And years later, her son Milo would go on to star in a Disney Channel Original Movie of his own. How cool?
She'll be supporting Milo on Dancing With the Stars.
Milo's mother has been by her son's side throughout his whole career, and the same goes for his Dancing With the Stars Season 27 journey. You bet she'll be watching her son slay the ballroom. Camryn was in attendence for her son's DWTS announcement at Good Morning America, and they had a serious moment.
"She's my mom, and she's very protective of me. She loves me – I love her. She's always there for me. She always has my back no matter what, so she's always checking and making sure I'm okay," the 17-year-old actor gushed.
What other shows has Milo Manehim's mom starred in?
Camryn has an extremely long resume. The star is known primarily for her roles as attorney Ellenor Frutt on ABC's The Practice and Delia Banks on CBS's Ghost Whisperer. She also played Elvis' mother, Gladys Presley in the 2005 series Elvis. She even won the Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series" for role in The Practice in 1998.
