Miranda Cosgrove is ready to be in another TV show! The former iCarly star and current NFL Tweens/Junior Apparel celebrity ambassador chatted with us over the weekend while she helped open the NFL Shop at the Phoenix Convention Center, and revealed that a new television series is on her to-do list.
"I really want to do another TV show, so that's what I'm hoping to do soon," she EXCLUSIVELY tells us.
Instead of returning to Nickelodeon, however, Miranda wants to follow the likes of Victoria Justice and do something a bit more grown up.
"I want to try to grow and do something new, so [I'd like to do a show that's] a little more mature," she says.
That doesn't mean she wouldn't be down for an iCarly reunion episode or movie, though! The actress, who is currently a full time student at the University of Southern California loves the idea of being reunited with her Nick cast.
"It'd be fun to do [a reunion movie] some day. Because we're all doing our own thing I don't get to see Nathan [Kress] and Jerry [Trainor] as much, so I think it'd be really fun to get to all be together again," she says.
We love that she is open to an iCarly reunion – especially since Nathan told us that he'd love to return to the show, too! But we're even more excited that Miranda wants to return to TV soon. We've definitely missed seeing her on a weekly basis.
