Even diehard High School Musical fans may be shocked by Monique Coleman's latest reveal. The actress, who played Taylor McKessie in the franchise, says that when she came home from filming the first movie, she had no money in the bank and got evicted from her apartment! Plus, she says that she wasn't even able to watch the film on her own television because she couldn't afford to use the network. (Instead, she watched it while babysitting.)

The actress posted an inspirational message about living your dreams, days before the 10 year anniversary of High School Musical. She wrote a beautiful message about achieving her "greatest aspirations."

10 years ago, 🐾 I came home from filming High School Musical to an empty bank account and a 3 day eviction notice on my apartment door. I didn't even watch the movie on my own television because I couldn't afford the Disney Channel….instead I watched it with kids I was babysitting for $10/hr. I didn't have a passport. I'd never recorded a song & I was collecting unemployment. I remember that one of my greatest aspirations was to be able to shop at Whole Foods. 🌟 I share this to remind you that dreams do comes true! They rarely come without sacrifice, hard work, and a faith that closely resembles insanity….but they do come true. Cherish the journey. Enjoy the struggles. And most of all, believe in yourself with all your heart ❤️ #HSM10

Wow, that is so inspirational! We had no clue that Monique went through this after shooting HSM. It's obvious the series means a lot to her for more reasons than one.
