For those who missed it, the makeup mogul announced that he and Nathan had split after five years together back in January 2020. At the time, Jeffree claimed that they had ended things on good terms.
“This isn’t an internet fight. This isn’t drama, this isn’t tea. This is my real life and me and my soulmate are really going through it,” he revealed in a video titled “We Broke Up.” “I will always have love for him, but are we in love with each other? No. But we love each other and he will always be in my life.”
But on March 1, when Nathan posted a super shady post on Instagram, fans started to speculate that he was seeing someone new. Nathan shared a snap of himself standing on a pier in Michigan, and some fans were quick to notice that one of Nathan’s friends, Leah Nelson posted a photo in the exact same spot on the exact same day.
It’s unclear whether or not Nathan and Leah are dating or if they’re just friends, but this actually isn’t the first time there were rumors that Nathan was seeing someone new since his split from Jeffree. Back in January, rumors started to circulate Nathan had started a relationship with a girl from Malibu, but Jeffree quickly shut them down by sharing a photo of Nathan inside his house hanging with their dogs.
“A lot of you are like, ‘Are you and Nate hanging out right now?’ I was visiting my grandma… Instead of having my security guards or team watch my dogs, why not have Nathan — who raised them with me for years — watch them instead?” Jeffree explained on his Instagram Stories. “Also, him and I both felt like it was necessary to show that he is actually at my house today because there are a few media outlets reporting that Nathan is in another city with another girl. Do you think me and him want to date anyone else right now? Do you think that’s on our minds? I’m on day 10 of crying my eyes out. So, that’s not what we’re thinking about right now.”
