It’s no secret Niall Horan is a total and complete gem and he’s always so appreciative to his fans who support his music. Despite the fact that as a member of One Direction, you think he would be used to being loved and adored by so many people all around the world, fans can’t help but notice that he’s still just as humble and sweet as ever. And while the 25-year-old just wrapped up his first ever solo tour, we just found out the truth behind one of the most meaningful moments of the Flicker World Tour.
A few weeks ago, fans of the “Slow Hands” singer freaked out when footage from his concert made its way to Twitter and Instagram that showed Niall performing the jam on stage with a young fan. Basically, we got an inside look into what life as Uncle Niall is like and you know, just started preparing ourselves for the day he becomes a dad himself.
Most likely, your heart grew about five times its size after watching that ridiculously adorable moment. But now, we’ve gotten the full background story on how this all came to be and it once again proves Niall is a prince among us. Annie Clements — the bass player for Maren Morris who we know was out on tour with Niall — took to her Instagram to share a from-the-side-of-the-stage look at when Nialler pulled this fan up on stage. Annie explained how he promised this adorable little one he would dance and sing with her during the final song if she didn’t fall asleep by the end of the concert, and he kept his word.
“Can’t believe the #flickerworldtour is nearly over. Here’s a lovely example of @niallhoran and his whole team’s generosity and kindness. This little girl was right up front holding a sign that read ‘Can I dance to ‘Slow Hands’ with you?’ Niall read it aloud and said ‘Little lady, if you’re still awake by the end of the show, we’ll have a dance,'” Annie wrote. “And sure enough, an hour and half later, he was true to his word and made a memory of a lifetime for this girl and her family. Niall has been the most gracious host to us. He is so kind and thoughtful and remembers little details you share and wants everyone to have a great time. I know his fans feel that during his show and it’s a special show to watch. He really listens, he really cares, and this whole touring experience has been really wonderful. Thank you to Niall, the band and crew for being so kind and welcoming to all of us. ❤️ #niallhoran #flickerworldtour#slowhands.”

Niall really is a sweetheart and fulfills his promises, that’s for sure. And now we know how he ended up making that little fan’s dreams come true. We don’t deserve him, truly. Until the next tour!
