Sorry, guys, but it looks like Niall Horan isn’t going to be making music any time soon because he just became the internet’s biggest social media influencer! The former One Direction member recently took to Instagram Stories and poked some fun at the influencer community.
“Influencers? Am I going it right?” the “Slow Hands” crooner asked his 23.5 million followers, alongside a snap of his hand holding a book and a coffee mug.
Honestly Niall, it looks like the perfect influencer snap to us! Although he was, most definitely, just making a joke about social media users, fans on Twitter couldn’t help but start calling the singer their “favorite influencer.” Looks like he has a new job in his future!
“You‘ve been an influencer your whole life! No need to ask others,” one person wrote. Another hilariously added, “Niall Horan became an influencer, Liam Payne became a YouTuber, the world really is changing. I’m here for it though.”
A third stated, “Niall Horan is my favorite influencer.”
As fans know, his Instagram Stories post came just after Niall expressed to fans that he hadn’t been active on social media because he wasn’t feeling well recently.
“Sorry [I’ve] been quiet guys, haven’t been feeling very well last few days,” he wrote. “I’ll be back soon.”
His tweet came just one day after the singer posted a selfie that showed him laying on the couch in the dark looking somber.
“It is 4 P.M. why is Niall lying in the dark?” one fan quipped, to which he replied, “Don’t feel well.”
Some fans quickly started to worry that the 26-year-old may have caught the coronavirus, and they quickly took to Twitter to send him messages of support.
“Hope you didn’t get that corona. Take care Niall, I will pray for you health,” one fan replied, with another adding, “Is Niall just feeling sick or has he got corona? Please I’m scared.”
We seriously hope he starts to feel better soon!
