A Look Back at Noah Centineo's Disney Channel Roles

If you’re like us and watched Netflix’s latest rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before maybe more than once last weekend, then you know how beyond adorably perfect it is. Especially the characters and the actors who play them. And yes, we’re referring to the one and only Noah Centineo who plays Peter Kavinsky. He truly had such great chemistry with his on-screen love interest Lara Jean, played by Lana Condor, but there’s a good chance that in between swooning over Noah’s adorableness during his scenes, you thought to yourself, you totally know this guy. Well, you’re right.

He’s best known for his role of Jesus on The Fosters, but true OGs know Noah was once a Disney Channel staple. Noah guest-starred on three episodes of the series playing Dallas, one of Ally’s crushes. He worked at Cell Phone Accessory Cart in the same mall as Ally’s dad’s store, Sonic Boom, and he even goes on to get a job at Sonic Boom. Until he got fired. And c’mon, while Dallas was cute, we all knew Austin and Ally were endgame anyway!

And now we’ve entered the land of the DCOM. Noah starred in this movie (along with China McClain, Kelli Berglund, and Ashley Argota) as Jaden, the cute jock Kelli’s character Mae has a crush on. Spoiler alert: by the end of the movie, Jaden finally gets up the courage to ask Mae out after Mae had already gone through the process of building a virtual boyfriend along with her BFF. Casual.

OK, so we know this show aired on Freeform and not Disney Channel, but there’s still a Disney connection. See, Noah took over the role of Jesus, which was originally played by Jake T. Austin for two seasons. Yes, as in Max Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place, a legendary Disney Channel show. Noah is forever linked to his Disney roots!
