You might’ve been too hypnotized with his mesmerizing beauty to notice, but you might be surprised to learn that Noah Centineo has a little scar on his face – right below his mouth, to be exact. So how did he get it? Turns out, he had a pretty traumatizing run-in with a dog when he was young.

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actor told BuzzFeed, “I got attacked by a dog. I got attacked when I was six years old by a Mastiff. He ripped a hole in my face, so you could see my teeth, my gums, and all the way through my tongue to the other side.”

“I specifically remember him lunging, being pulled away from him, and then looking back and seeing him – he like cocked his head like he didn’t really understand what had happened,” he continued. “Some people were like, ‘Do you wanna put the dog down?’ I was crying, like, ‘No, he didn’t mean to do it!'”

After the attack, Noah’s family actually got another dog – a bigger one, in fact.

“My parents got a dog for us — a black lab german shepherd rottweiler mix — named Mackenzie, six weeks after the accident. And then getting another dog, a bigger dog, after that was great. And now, the bigger the dog, the better,” he spilled.

Yikes! This sounds like a super scary experience. But clearly, Noah hasn’t let the incident stop him from loving dogs – which is great, because he looks v cute playing with them.
