To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was based on the first book in a trilogy written by Jenny Han — which means the sequel is based on the second book, titled P.S. I Still Love You. The second movie will pick up where the first one left off, as Lara Jean gets a surprise visit from her past crush and love letter recipient John Ambrose McClaren. As fans know, the first movie ended with Noah — er, Peter Kavinsky — and Lara Jean totally falling for each other and kissing in the middle of the football field. But could John Ambrose break them apart? There will definitely be some competition — that’s for sure!

Masters of the Universe

What’s it about?

Although details are slim, Variety confirmed that Noah is in talks to play the role of He-Man in the movie’s reboot. For those of you who aren’t really into superheroes, He-Man comes from a planet called Eternia and is known for his superhuman strength. Yep! It sounds like the actor is trading in his TATBILB lacrosse gear for a cape, and TBH, we’re kind of here for it!

The all-too-relatable Lara Jean Covey writes love letters to all her crushes, which she never intended for any of them to see. The letters get sent out and one goes to popular jock Peter Kavinsky. They start “fake-dating” as a way for Peter to get back at his ex-girlfriend and for LJ to prove to her sister’s ex-boyfriend that she’s not crushing on him, although she totally is. As you can imagine, Lara Jean and Pete’s fake romance turns real, and well, they’ve given us one of the cutest on-screen love stories we’ve seen in quite some time.

Sierra Burgess Is a Loser

What’s it about?

What starts out as a mean prank turns into an unexpected love story. Sierra is a super smart high school student who doesn’t really know exactly who she is yet. She has a best friend named Dan and lives a pretty average teenage life. Until one day, a super cute guy named Jamey starts texting her. He thinks she’s someone else, and that someone else happens to be Veronica, the popular cheerleader who’s pretty mean to Sierra. Jamey and Sierra get to know each other over text and talking on the phone – and while they’re totally falling for one another, Sierra has to make the choice of when to tell Jamey the truth about who she really is.

Noah plays a college student named Lance Black, who’s basically the big man on campus type. He convinces his super smart roommate James to help him build a dating app called Jungle, and as you can imagine, plenty of drama goes down when things don’t really go as smoothly as they hoped.

The Perfect Date

What’s it about?

Noah plays a character named Brooks who, as a way to raise money for college, creates a dating app where he pretends to be a stand-in boyfriend for those who need one during any life situation that may come up where someone might require a boyfriend. He ends up falling for one girl in particular though, named Shelby, who is played by Riverdale‘s Camila Mendes. If the title of the movie doesn’t sound at all familiar, that’s probably because it was originally supposed to be called “The Stand-In,” but that later got changed.

Charlie’s Angels

What’s it about?

This reboot of the iconic series is being directed by Elizabeth Banks and co-stars some fabulous women: Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska are the next generation of Angels. Right now, we don’t know much about Noah’s character — except that he’ll be serving as a love interest for one of the leading ladies. In between all their spy drama, there’s always room for romance, right?

The Diary

What’s it about?

If you’re into films that are a little throwback-ish, you’ll love The Diary, which is set in the early 1930’s. The plot is about a young man who leaves Shanghai and goes to Europe to be with his one true love. Aw, how sweet!

Unfortunately, the movie doesn’t yet have a release date.

Valet

Status: Pre-production

What’s it about?

Noah will play a young valet driver who ends up in an intense government mission after he valets a car for a government agent. INTENSE. Noah explained that this was a role he really fought for.

“The director is Assaf Bernstein, and I sat down with him and we talked for just under two hours. The conversation was not about the movie, it was about subject matters that were very, very close to our hearts and things we were going through and the world and we just dove right into the deep end of it,” Noah said. “And then, we left. Fast forward a week and a half, two weeks, I’m backstage at [Jimmy] Kimmel and 20 minutes before I go on, my manager gets a phone call saying, ‘if you want the role, it’s his.’ I smiled and I was smiling the rest of the night.”

The finance company behind the movie is currently looking for a studio distributor, so hopefully we’ll find out more details soon.
