On Saturday, November 16, Noah Cyrus gave fans quite a scare during her performance at the Corona Capital music festival in Mexico City. The 19-year-old singer seemingly ran off stage before performing her last song due to being struck by an illness. Later, she took to social media and shared a message with fans and followers explaining her exit from the stage and apologizing for her inability to finish the last song.

In the picture Noah posted to her Instagram, she was photographed while being backstage and wearing an oxygen mask. In the photo’s caption, she told fans that before she was set to perform her last song, she had to run backstage and throw up.

“I had to run off and throw up before my last song,” she wrote. “Sorry I couldn’t finish my set but thanks so much [Corona Capital]. You guys were so loud.”

Followers immediately commented on her post and sent the “Lonely” singer well wishes. Justin Bieber even reached out her and commented “Hope [you’re] okay.. check [your] [direct messages],” on the Instagram post. It turned out, the 25-year-old sent Noah a throwback photo of the two of them together and she shared the adorable image to her Instagram Stories.

“Ope suddenly I’m better,” she captioned the snap. “Thanks king.”

It was not clear what made Noah fall ill, but as fans know, she is always super open with fans when it comes to discussing her struggles with mental illness.

After the release of her debut EP back in August 2018, the singer got real during an interview with  L’Officiel USA about living with anxiety and depression.

“This EP is mostly just about how my emotions have been, and about my anxiety, and about how I’ve been struggling with depression, and how it’s okay to feel those feelings,” she said. “A lot of people like to judge you, and make fun of you on the Internet, and people make you feel crazy whenever you’re in a depression or having anxiety or having a panic attack. It’s about that and being sad and having your emotions and not being able to ignore the feelings you’re having.”
