After months of preparation, One Direction's wax sculptures have finally been revealed at Madam Tussauds in London, and the resemblance is uncanny! Since the bandmates are busy touring, their wax look-a-likes were shipped out to them in Nottingham so they could have final approval.
The wax figures look nearly identical to the guys — Harry's even has all his tattoos!
According to Madame Tussauds' sculptors the 1D members spent an hour and half with them as 200 measurements and 200 photos were collected. Perfecting a wax sculpture is no easy task!
There was one bandmate, however, who was less complicated to replicate then the others. According to the sculptors, Liam's new shaved hairstyle made things a little easier.
"[It] is actually really helpful in sculpting as it gives you a lot of detail about the shape of his skull," they explained. "It sometimes can be a lot of guesswork if it's underneath a lot of hair."
Now that we know One Direction wax figures actually exist, fans may not get the same surprise as these lucky ones did!
