Now that they'll have some time off after promoting their sophomore album, Take Me Home, it seems the guys are looking forward to a little rest, relaxation and some good 'ol home cooking this holiday season! "I'll probably go home to Ireland and do the same thing as every year: drink, eat, and sleep a lot," Niall Horan says. "Just chill out, become fat." And Harry Styles can't wait for Christmas dinner. "You go in hard," he says. "Then about 7 o'clock, watching a film, you make a turkey sandwich."
After all of the success they've had this year, Zayn's plan is to spoil his family. "Now that we have a bit of money, it is nice to get gifts for people," Zayn Malik says. "Before I was getting and not really giving." (He bought his parents a house in the same town he grew up in, Bradford, England!)
But will they exchange gifts with each other? "I don't think we've ever bought each other a Christmas present," Liam Payne says. "If it's somebody's birthday, I have to arrange the present — always late because I'm a bit lazy. I'm not about to become the Christmas Man as well. That's too many jobs."
And even though it's hard to find the time to do it, they still prefer to shop in person. "It's nice to go and pick out stuff rather than doing it online," Harry says. "I do a bit of both," Louis Tomlinson adds. "I prefer to go out, but it's finding the time and the motivation, because [when] we've got time off it's nice to do nothing," Louis says.
