A little magic has officially hit theaters with release of Mary Poppins Returns. We caught up with actress Pixie Davies, who plays Anabel Banks, and she told us all about the Disney movie. Check it out!
J-14: We can’t wait for this movie! What brings Mary Poppins back into the Banks family’s lives?
PD: The Banks are running low on money and trying to get people to pay for their house and Mary Poppins comes to help bring their family back together again.
J-14: Does your character like Mary Poppins when she arrives?
PD: No, Anabel does not like her one bit. She thinks that she is trying to take over and replace her mother.
J-14: Are there fun dance numbers and songs in this movie like the original?
PD: Yeah and they are so amazing! I can’t believe I’m in a Disney movie doing a dance routine with like 200 lamplighters doing all these crazy bike tricks, flips and things like that!
J-14: Can we expect a lot of magical scenes as well in this one?
PD: Yes! There are some really magical scenes — especially the bathtub scene where Mary Poppins is singing!
