Go90 just released a brand new series that we can’t wait to binge. Play By Play is a coming-of-age comedy told from the perspective of a successful sportscaster who reflects and delivers a play-by-play on his high school experience. Here is an exclusive video that J-14 was sent from actor Reid Miller, who stars in the show.
Reid plays main character Pete Hickey, a freshman in high school who has two majorly important goals: to be an amazing athlete and to win the heart of Alex Campbell. Though he’s not athletic, Pete manages to just make the cut for the varsity football team.
Once a part of this prestigious group, his entire life begins to change. Pete starts to get attention from girls and discovers a new passion that will ultimately become his life’s work: sportswriting. Still, many things stay the same. Along with his best friend Rocko, Pete must navigate the good and the bad of his high school experience.
Reid opened up to J-14 about himself. Not only does he act, but the actor also practices martial arts, aspires to be a motion picture writer-director, and enjoys rapping (in the shower, at the very least).
With witty lines and a relatable plot, we’re sure that Play By Play is going to be a hit.
