Get ready, people, because two of your favorite stars are teaming up for a brand new show. That’s right, we’re talking about Kiernan Shipka and Ross Butler! The 13 Reasons Why star was just cast in the actress’ upcoming Quibi series, Swimming With Sharks, and we have all the exciting deets.

According to Deadline, the show, — which is set to premiere on April 6, 2020 — will be an adaptation of the 1994 film of the same name. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star will play a girl named Lou — a young female assistant who will outwit all her coworkers at a company filled with manipulators, schemers and intrigue. Hollywood legend Diane Kruger is also set to star alongside Kiernan in the upcoming project, and together, they will give a “female twist” to the characters played by men in the original film. Erika Alexander and Gerardo Celasco have also joined the cast of the new series.

So who is Ross going to play? Well, he’s going to star as a boy named Alex — a “burnt-out, Harvard educated assistant. Alex is friendly to the new intern, Lou, and fills her in on the perils of working for Joyce Holt,” Deadline reported. As for Erika, she’ll play Meredith — a “best-selling author who is being wooed for the rights to her books. She uses her sought-after status to leverage a surprising amount of power, proving she can play hardball with the big Hollywood players.” Gerardo was cast as Miles, a “moderately talented artist and the husband of Joyce. Miles and Joyce have a complicated relationship based on love, money and power.”

Wow, how epic does that sound? And it turns out, this isn’t the only exciting show that Quibi has in the works! Back in February, it was announced that Liam Hemsworth was getting his own series on the streaming site called Most Dangerous Game. Plus, Demi Lovato is set to host her own Quibi talk show called Pillow Talk with Demi Lovato.

Joe Jonas and Zac Efron also have their own shows coming to Quibi this year. The Jonas Brothers singer will host a travel series called Cup of Joe, which will document him throughout the Happiness Begins Tour. Zac’s show, called Killing Zac Efron, is set to follow the High School Musical alum as he spends 21 days in the jungle with only basic supplies and a guide partner.

That’s not all! Model Cara Delevingne is also going to host and produce an all-female practical joke series for the network, and Nickelodeon has a reboot of their iconic game show Legends of the Hidden Temple coming to Quibi!
